Children’s literacy is dropping across the United States. To solve this problem, we partnered with the Library of Congress. To get them out of their devices and into books, we decided to enter the enemy’s territory and design the Readers to the Rescue app.
This would require the collaboration of numerous departments around campus. Together, we created something greater than we could have individually. The Center was buzzing for months with programmers, illustrators, art directors, cinematographers, composers, etc.
This project is now live at read.gov/readers
